Your training allocation for 2022 is available

Ashtons provides a wide range of training courses including e-learning and clinical training seminars. You can now choose from these 12 clinical training seminars:

  • Anaphylaxis
  • Cannabis Oil
  • Controlled Drugs for Hospices
  • Drug Interactions for Hospices
  • End-of-life Care for People with Parkinson’s Disease
  • Management of Diabetes Towards the End of Life
  • Managing Oral Problems in Palliative Care
  • Medicines Management
  • Patient Group Directions
  • Polypharmacy and De-prescribing Towards the End of Life
  • Safer Medicines Administration
  • The Accountable Officer

The following are also available for healthcare assistants:

  • Administration of Medicines
  • Introduction to Medication
  • Secondary Signatory for the Management of CDs and DLMs

For hospices that have an allocation of inclusive training, this begins in January and must be taken within the calendar year. Hospices cannot roll over their allocation to the following year. Additional clinical training seminars are charged at the standard rate of £545 + VAT.

E-learning

In addition to our clinical training seminars, Ashtons also provides access to e-learning courses and our brand-new e-learning system was launched in 2021, with all courses accredited with CPD UK. Courses include:

  • Medicines Management
  • Controlled Drugs for Hospices
